International Design Awards: Cristina Real wins second place

Cristina Real conquistou o segundo lugar, na categoria sportswear, nos InternationalDesign Awards (IDA).

A jovem designer portuguesa foi premiada pela colecção "Interrupção",apresentada na edição de Março da ModaLisboa. A colecção é descrita pela designer como o resultado de "uma paragem, de um momento em que começamos a reflectir sobre quem somos, o que queremos fazer e qual é a nossa referência".

"Ser distinguida nos IDA é uma boa oportunidade para dar a conhecer o meu trabalho a nível internacional e para continuar a desafiar-me", refere Cristina Real.

O IDA foi estabelecido em 2007 e, de dois em dois anos, distingue talentos emergentes em design de moda, design de interiores, design gráfico, design de produto e arquitectura.

Portuguese fashion designer Cristina Real was awarded the second prize in the International Design Awards (IDA) in the sportswear category.

The distinction was awarded to "Interrupção" [Interruption], thecollection presented in the last edition of Lisbon Fashion Week. Cristina Real describes the collection as the result of "a stop, a moment in which we start to reflect about who we are, what we want, what we want to do and what our reference is".

"This award is a good opportunity to showcase my work at an international level and to move forward with this project", says the designer.

The IDA was created in 2007 in order to celebrate emerging talents in architecture, interior, product, graphic and fashion design.

Eduardo Amorim wins the European Fashion Contest Award

Eduardo Amorim venceu a quarta edição do "European Fashion Contest Award". O jovem designer português, licenciado em Design de Moda pela ESAD, foi o vencedor da categoria dedicada a estudantes e recém-licenciados.

A iniciativa organizada pela ACTE decorreu na cidade italiana de Riccione e visa promover a criatividade num contexto internacional.

Eduardo Amorim foi um dos vencedores do Concurso Bloom, organizado pelo Portugal Fashion durante a edição de Março. A iniciativa seleccionou quatro jovens designers, que terão a oportunidade de apresentar as suas colecções nas duas próximas edições do Bloom.

Eduardo Amorim won the fourth edition of the European Fashion Contest Award. The Portuguese designer, who recently graduated in Fashion Design from ESAD, won the category dedicated to students.

The iniciative organized by ACTE took place in Riccione (Italy). As part of the Riccione Moda Italia, the contest aims at promoting international criativity.

Eduardo Amorim was one of winners of the Bloom Contest, organized by Portugal Fashion, back in March. The initiative will give young designers the opportunity to present their collections in the next two editions of the Bloom platform.
